Presentamos aquí, en primer lugar, el significado del comprender introducido por Dilthey en las ciencias del espíritu. Partimos en esta tarea de la explicación inicial que hace Dilthey de estas ciencias y de la referencia de las mismas a su objeto temático (la realidad históricosocial), en su intento de fundarlas como ciencias autónomas. Justamente en la consideración de esa referencia, aparece el comprender como el modo de acceso de ellas a la realidad histórica-social. Así, él, concebido como interpretación, llega a ser mostrado en tanto fundamento de la fi losofía misma. En segundo y último lugar exponemos la reapropiación, que en lo esencial ejecuta Heidegger, tanto del objeto, como, y muy especialmente, del fenómeno del comprender, que prevalecen en las investigaciones de las ciencias del espíritu de Dilthey.149-163filosofi@ula.ve, caracatoa@hotmail.comIn fi rst instance we present the meaning of "Understanding" as Dilthey introduces it in "Sciences of the Spirit" according to his initial explanation about these sciences and its thematic object (social-historical reality). It is because of his attempt to build a foundation for these as autonomous sciences."Understanding" appears as the way for accessing this reality. So, in this way he shows the foundation of philosophy itself. In second place we expose the re-approapiation of the object as well as the understanding phenomena in a very special sense. This issues prevail in Dilthey’s Sciences of the Spirit.
