Desarrollaremos la relación de la bioética con la biopolítica. El principio de justicia – básico en bioética- es, por una parte, la equidad en el acceso a la salud de los sectores de población más vulnerables, y por otra, el deber ético de promover la igualdad en la atención de salud, y también respetar los derechos de los pacientes, que deben estar garantizados en la legislación. Elaborar esta legislación protectora de la vida y la salud es parte de la misión de la biopolítica, pero la bioética va más allá: promueve la justicia como principio ético y también propone el deber ético de solidaridad, más allá de la justicia. Centraremos nuestro análisis en las implicaciones que tienen en bioética estos dos principios, de justicia y de solidaridad, y la relación entre bioética y biopolítica.We will elaborate on the relationship between bioethics and bio-politics. The principle of justice a paramount element in bioethics is, on one hand, equality of access to health care for the most vulnerable segment of the population and, on the other, the ethical duty of promoting equality in health care, as well as respect for the patient’s rights, which must be guaranteed by law. Designing this life and health protection legislation is part of the mission of bio-politics, but bioethics goes beyond that: it promotes justice as an ethical principle and proposes the bioethical duty of solidarity, beyond justice. We will focus our analysis on the implications that these two principles, justice and solidarity, that have bioethics and the relationship between bioethics and bio-politics.
