dc.description.abstractThe aim of this work was to study the bioflm formation and the biocorrosion affecting an urban solid waste treat- ment plant and the application of a commercial antimicrobial agent to mitigate the effects of microbiologi- cally infuenced corrosion. The results showed the antimicrobial agent was able to inhibit the growth of microor- ganisms and mitigate biocorrosion.
