dc.description.abstract | Banara parviflora (A. Gray) Benth. is a species that belongs to Salicaceae family and is native to SouthernBrazil. Fractionation of the ethanolic extract from Banara parviflora leaves afforded, a new compound iden-tified as N1,N8-dibenzoylspermidinyl-N4-acetamide, a spermidine alkaloid. The structure was elucidatedby spectroscopic methods (IR, MS,1H,13C and 2-D NMR). | |
