dc.description.abstractThis project will analyze three sectors belonging to the La Estrella river in Limón: Vesta (upper part), Atalanta (middle part) and Pandora (lower part). The importance of the project lies in which equation is the one that is best suited to the conditions of the country. In this case, in the river La Estrella, since the type of formulations that have been developed so far, are taking into account only the average diameters in the rivers (D50), that is, the average of all types of diameters present; so the results obtained are deficient. Therefore, it would be considered that the river carries a single dimension of diameter, knowing for sure that the rivers carry different type, this the importance of knowing what the actual diameters actually are. The ascending order with respect to the amount of both uniform and non-uniform sediment trawling is Atalanta, Pandora and Vesta. Under uniform conditions; the larger diameter represents less transport while in the non-uniform conditions if the amount per unit of transport width for this type of diameters is considerable.
