dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this work is the development of a methodological guide for the selection and prioritization of projects through a portfolio for the Construction Company VIDALCO S.A. As part of a literature review, interviews and focus group was conducted to determine the current status of the company in the selection of its projects, which will identify the alignment of projects with strategic decisions. This document provides the information required in the field of portfolio management, focused on the first three phases of choice for the preparation of the methodological guide for selecting and prioritizing projects model. The portfolio management model used to develop the theoretical and conceptual framework of the guide is proposed by J. Michael Bivins Bible & Susan S. (2011), in his bibliography “Mastering project portfolio management”. The final deliverable will be a methodological guide configured according to the needs of the company which will allow you to have an optimal portfolio of projects, for this it must perform the procedures proposed in the ready-made guide.
