| dc.description | The present investigation was carried out during the months of October of 2016 to January of 2017 in the hamlet of Huayatán, Province Santiago de Chuco, Region La Libertad; Located at 3418 m.s.n.m. With varied weather, high rainfall in the months of January to March, with 15 ° C to 24 ° C on sunny days and cold nights due to temperature drop; In a loamy clay soil, slightly acid and low in organic matter. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of three doses of banana peel solution on the performance of Beta Vulgaris L. var. Early Wonder Tall Top in Huayatán, Santiago de Chuco - La Libertad, also, determine the dose of banana peel solution that allows to obtain the highest yield. A randomized complete block design was used, with four treatments and three replicates. The treatments were: without banana peel solution for the control (T0), 10 ml (T1), 20 ml (T2), and 30 ml (T3) per plant respectively. Statistical evaluation was performed using the analysis of variance and the Tukey test. The variables evaluated did not show significant differences between the doses, reaching an average yield of 162.39 g per plant. The T3 treatment presented the highest average commercial root diameter with 7.22 cm, higher plant height and leaf number. | |
| dc.description | La presente investigación se realizó durante los meses de Octubre del 2016 a Enero del 2017 en el caserío de Huayatán, Provincia Santiago de Chuco, Región La Libertad; ubicado a 3418 m.s.n.m. con clima variado, altas precipitaciones de lluvias en los meses de enero a marzo, con 15°C a 24°C en días soleados y noches frías por descenso de temperatura; en un suelo de textura franco arcilloso, ligeramente ácido y bajo en materia orgánica. El estudio tuvo como objetivos evaluar el efecto de tres dosis de solución de cáscara de plátano en el rendimiento de Beta Vulgaris L. var. Early Wonder Tall Top en Huayatán, Santiago de Chuco – La Libertad, asimismo, determinar la dosis de solución de cáscara de plátano que permita obtener el mayor rendimiento. Se empleó el diseño de bloques completos al azar, con cuatro tratamientos y tres repeticiones. Los tratamientos fueron: sin solución de cáscara de plátano para el testigo (T0), 10 ml (T1), 20 ml (T2), y 30 ml (T3) por planta respectivamente. La evaluación estadística se realizó mediante el análisis de varianza y la Prueba de Tukey, respectivamente. Las variables evaluadas no mostraron diferencias significativas entre las dosis, alcanzando un rendimiento promedio de 162.39 g por planta. El tratamiento T3 presentó el mayor promedio de diámetro de raíz comercial con 7.22 cm, mayor altura de planta y número de hojas. | |
