| dc.description | La presente investigación se realizó durante los meses de Agosto del 2015 a Marzo del 2016 en el caserío de Huayatán, sector Cochavara, Provincia de Santiago de Chuco, Región La Libertad; ubicado a 3380 msnm, clima variado, con altas precipitaciones de lluvias en los meses de enero a marzo, con 15oC a 24°C en días soleados y noches frías por descenso de temperatura; en un suelo de textura franco arenoso, moderadamente ácido y bajo en materia orgánica. El estudio tuvo como objetivos evaluar el efecto de tres niveles de guano de las Islas en el rendimiento de Chenopodium quinoa Wild. Var. Blanca Junín en Huayatán, Santiago de Chuco-La Libertad; asimismo, determinar el nivel de guano de las Islas que permita obtener el mayor rendimiento. Se empleó el diseño de bloques completos al azar, con cuatro tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones. Los tratamientos usados fueron: Sin guano de las islas (T0), siendo éste el testigo, 500 kg de guano de las islas (T1), 750 kg de guano de las islas (T2), y 1000 kg de guano de las islas (T3) por hectárea, respectivamente. La evaluación estadística fue en base al análisis de varianza y a la prueba de tukey, al 0.05% de significancia. Los resultados indican que las variables morfológicas y de rendimiento presentaron diferencia estadística significativa; en el cual, el tratamiento (T3) fue el mejor de todos los tratamientos, logrando obtener un rendimiento de 3000 kg.ha-1 y la mejor calidad de Chenopodium quinoa wild.
