| dc.description | Every company should have a system of safety management and occupational health,
which allows the control of the safety of their processes and the protection of the health
of their workers; achieving greater support for the company and contributing to improved
performance and increased profits.
The present work called "DESIGN OF A MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND SECURITY APPLIED TO OPERATIONAL
MANUFACTURING PROCESSES AND ASSEMBLY OF METAL STRUCTURES,
FOR CONTROLLING THE INHERENT RISKS OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE
COMPANY GLOBAL SANGYO SERVICE SAC" under the standard OHSAS 18001
applied to a company that performs different services, where the analysis focused on the
work of industrial boiler, and it is intended that the study can be replicated in other
processes.
In the first two chapters the theoretical foundations are presented and the process of
implementing a management system of occupational safety and security and all the
terminology, criteria and operations involved in this process which will be used
throughout the study are described.
In the third and fourth chapters the object of study and data collection techniques are
defined, and are presented to the company under analysis.
In the fifth chapter the diagnosis of the current situation of the company meeting the
requirements of the OHSAS 18001 was made, and another diagnosis to see the
accomplishment of the Peruvian legal regulations was made as well.
In the sixth chapter, the proposed implementation is defined and the management system
of occupational safety and security under the standard
OHSAS 18001: 2007 is designed. Starting with the preparation of the Security Policy and
the scope of the system was defined; for the implementation stage where we indicated the
procedures step by step how to assign the resources, roles, responsibilities, training
programs, consultation and participation were developed; documentation control,
operational control, preparations and responses before emergencies; formats where the
activities are undertaken to demonstrate traceability records were also developed. In the seventh chapter the economic viability of this project is demonstrated by the results
of the profitability indicators such as net present value (VAN) and internal rate of return
(TIR), where values VAN was obtained: 97752.71 and TIR: 23.22%
Later in the eighth chapter provides an analysis of the results is made and set for design

Finally, in the ninth chapter they are the conclusions and recommendations obtained
during the investigation, attaching the corresponding annexes for compliance with the

que permita el control de la seguridad de sus procesos y la protección de la salud de sus
trabajadores; logrando un mayor respaldo para la empresa y contribuyendo a un mejor
desempeño y mayores beneficios.
El presente trabajo plantea denominado “DISEÑO DE UN SISTEMA DE GESTIÓN DE
SEGURIDAD Y SALUD OCUPACIONAL, APLICADO A LOS PROCESOS
OPERACIONALES DE FABRICACIÓN Y MONTAJE DE TRABAJOS DE
ESTRUCTURAS METALICAS, PARA CONTROLAR LOS RIESGOS INHERENTES A
LAS ACTIVIDADES, DE LA EMPRESA GLOBAL SANGYO SERVICE S.A.C.”, bajo la
norma OHSAS 18001 aplicado a una empresa que realiza diferentes servicios, donde el
análisis se enfocó a los trabajos de calderería industrial, y se pretende que el estudio pueda
replicarse en los demás procesos.
En los dos primeros capítulos se presentan los fundamentos teóricos y se describe el
proceso de implementación de un Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo
y toda la terminología, criterios y operaciones que conlleva este proceso y que se
emplearán a lo largo del estudio.
En el tercer y cuarto capítulos se define el objeto de estudio y las técnicas de recolección
de datos, y se presenta a la empresa en análisis.
En el quinto capítulo se realizó el diagnóstico de la situación actual de la empresa frente
a los requisitos exigidos por la norma OHSAS 18001, y otro diagnóstico para saber el
cumplimiento de las normas legales peruanas vigentes.
En el sexto capítulo, se define la propuesta de implementación y se diseña el sistema de
gestión de seguridad bajo la norma OHSAS 18001:2007. Iniciando con la elaboración de
la Política de Seguridad y se definió el alcance del Sistema; para la etapa de
implementación se elaboró procedimientos donde nos indica paso a paso como asignar
recursos, funciones, responsabilidades, programas de capacitación, participación y
consulta; control de documentos, control de operacional, preparación y respuesta ante

emergencias; también se elaboró formatos donde se registra las actividades realizadas
para demostrar trazabilidad.
En el séptimo capítulo se demostrara la viabilidad económica del presente proyecto a
través de los resultados de los índices de rentabilidad tales como el valor actual neto
(VAN) y la tasa interna de retorno (TIR), donde se obtuvo valores de VAN: 97,752.71 y
una TIR: 23.22%
Posteriormente en el octavo capítulo se realiza un análisis de los resultados obtenidos y
planteados para el diseño del Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de
la empresa Global Sangyo Service SAC.
Finalmente en el noveno capítulo están las conclusiones y recomendaciones obtenidas a
lo largo de la investigación, adjuntándose los anexos correspondientes para el
cumplimiento del Estándar ISO 18001 establecidos en el SGSST. | |
