| dc.description | Resumo: O tempo em uma indústria manufatureira é uma grandeza muito importante, pois quanto menor o tempo de usinagem de uma peça, maior será a oportunidade de se obter uma quantidade maior de peças e por consequência reduzir o custo unitário de fabricação. Dentro desta perspectiva, o objetivo deste trabalho é estudar a utilização de ferramenta do tipo caracol com inserto intercambiável de metal duro na usinagem de engrenagens, que significa uma inovação tecnológica para este processo, a fim de que se viabilize a utilização de maiores velocidades de cortes e com isso, se possa obter menores tempos de ciclo na operação de fresamento de dentes de engrenagens. Este trabalho procura estudar: - A Variação dos desvios F?, F? e ff? de engrenamento para os caracóis com insertos de metal duro como também para os caracóis de aço rápido para engrenagens de módulos 3 e 6; - O Estudo de vida do caracol módulo 3 de aço rápido e com insertos de metal duro com as coberturas TiAlN PVD e TiAlCrN PVD; - A Viabilidade econômica da utilização do caracol de metal duro em substituição ao caracol de aço rápido. Foi possível concluir ao final do trabalho que é viável a utilização de caracol com insertos intercambiáveis de metal duro, tanto tecnicamente quanto economicamente e que é possível utilizar velocidades de cortes maiores com este caracol quando comparado ao caracol inteiriço de aço rápido, conseguindo-se assim significativa redução do tempo de usinagem | |
| dc.description | Abstract: The time in a manufacturing industry is a very important parameter, because the shorter cycle time, the greater the opportunity to obtain a higher quantity of parts and consequently to reduce the unit manufacturing cost. In this perspective, the objective of this work is to study the technological innovation of gear milling using interchangeable carbide inserts hob and, consequently, to make the use of higher cutting speeds feasible in order to reach shorter cycle times in the gear hob operation. This work aims to study: - F?, F? and ff? deviations of the gear: obtained when using interchangeable carbide inserts hob and high-speed steel hob as gear milling tools for modules 3 and 6. - Hob tool life for the milling of module 3 gears using both, high-speed steel hob and interchangeable carbide inserts hob with TiAlN PVD and TiAlCrN PVD coating. - Economic viability of the use of interchangeable carbide inserts hob to replace high-speed steel hob. It was possible to conclude at the end of the work that it is technically and economically feasible to use interchangeable carbide inserts hob and, with this tool it was possible to higher cutting speeds when compared to the use of high-speed steel hob, which led to the reduction of machining time | |
