This paper is part of a doctoral study aimed to continuous training models offered to teachers in a city in the state of Sao Paulo, It proposes to reveal similarities and differences that could be perceived between the image of the teachers idealized by the professors, which can change their pedagogical practices and develop certain projects with students and the teacher in classroom. It is based in semiguided interviews with professors in the continuous training center of this city, analised from the Content Analysis perspective. Issues like the disbelief in capacities and the necessity to constantly overcome the "training faults" can be seen in the speech of professors and reveal a continuous training model marked by contradictions and based in the lack of knowledge and capacities of teachers and students. 3 3 195 208
