dc.descriptionThe research tries to make productions for Brazilian Jazz Band from three perspectives: 1. the aesthetic and theoretical aspect; 2. description of process done; 3. the musical performance. From the observed theoretical foundations, the intention is to describe the production of new arrangements and compositions for such group. The production works with the Brazilian musical genre choro and proposes the approach of it in three stages: the interpretation of a historical arrangement of reference, the realization of an arrangement and the realization of a composition within the same genre.
