dc.descriptionResumo: Esta pesquisa apresenta aspectos da trajetória de Giorgio Strehler (1921-1997), um dos principais encenadores da segunda metade do século XX e um dos fundadores do Piccolo Teatro di Milano. O estudo aborda o resgate, a apropriação e a transformação de alguns dos procedimentos da tradição teatral (especificamente a commedia dell¿arte e o sistema de K. Stanislávski) em encenações de Strehler. Neste contexto, serão examinados os recursos por ele usados nos seguintes espetáculos: Arlequim Servidor De Dois Patrões, O Jardim das Cerejeiras e A Tempestade, nos quais se busca verificar alguns fundamentos das poéticas de encenação de Strehler principalmente no que se refere à instauração de novos modos de composição baseados na síntese de princípios da tradição com as inquietações artísticas de sua época
dc.descriptionAbstract: This research presents aspects of Giorgio Strehler's trajectory (1921-1997), one of the main directors of the second half of the 20th century and one of the founders of Piccolo Teatro di Milano. The study deals with the redemption, ownership and transformation of some procedures from the theatrical tradition (specifically the commedia dell'arte and the system of K. Stanislavski) in Strehler's stagings. In this context, the resources used by him will be examined in the following spectacles: Harlequim, Servant of Two Masters, The Cherry Orchard and The Tempest in which one tries to verify some fundamentals of Strehler's poetics of staging, mainly concerning the establishment of new modes of composition based on the synthesis of principles of the tradition with the artistic uneasiness of his time
