The difference between physical activity (with no planning) and physical exercise (with planning) is well described in the literature. Physical activity regards any body movement produced by muscles, which results in higher energy expenditure. Physical exercise, on the other hand, is planned, structured, repetitive, and purposeful physical exercise (Mcardle et al. 1988; Caspersen et al. 1985). © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2016.
