Resumen
The goal is to analyze challenges to research in education/ school management/administration. To do this, we proceed to the identification of the results of studies that diagnose the area of production to then explain some references present in research and ultimately launch their limits and challenges that cast for advancement in knowledge production in the area. In general, we aim to challenge the conceptual deepening of the area with the search for new theoretical horizons that allow us to understand the complexity of education/school management/ administration, to interrogate them and not to prescribe their practices. © 2016, Centro de Estudos Educacao e Sociedade - CEDES.
