| dc.description | Resumo: Este trabalho pretende documentar e analisar as estruturas educacionais da Guiné-Bissau, a falta de infraestrutura deixada pelo colonialismo português e a implementação do novo sistema educacional pelo Partido Africano para a Indepedência da Guiné e Cabo Verde (PAIGC). A análise é feita através da avaliação do desempenho do governo da GuinéBissau no setor educacional, no período de 1975 a 1997. A educação tem sido vista como um dos meios de realização de mudanças sociais e, em 1975, o PAIGC implementou o novo sistema educacional, cujo projeto consistia em deslocar temporariamente, os alunos ao campo, para que pudessem trabalhar com os camponeses, os quais ensinavam as noções básicas de cultivo. No entanto, onze anos depois em 1986, quando houve a liberalização econômica, iniciou o descaso com a educação. Esta decadência parecia invadir todos os setores na Guiné-Bissau e o sistema educacional foi atingido em todas as suas condições. Assim, as condições escolares começaram a piorar, as instalações se tornaram precaríssimas juntamente com os professores mal preparados que ofereciam um ensino compatível com os seus próprios salários. A Guiné-Bissau é um estado em processo de lutas pela sua consolidação institucional. A configuração da organização política guineense é instável, e além disso, está permanentemente submetida aos impactos das mudanças políticas e econômicas mundiais. O sistema educacional guineense, e sua evolução, refletem o estado de evolução histórica do país. As perspectivas da política educacional guineense dependem da consolidação dessas mudanças | |
| dc.description | Abstract: The purpose of this work is to provide with documents and to analyse the educational structures of Guinea-Bissau, the lack of substructure left by the portuguese colonialism and the implantation of the new educational system by African Party for Guinea and Cap Verd's Independence (PAIGC). The analysis is done through the valuation of Guinea-Bissau's government's performance in educational sector during the period between 1975 and 1997. The education has been seen as one of the realization's means of social changes, and in 1975, the African Party for Guinea and Cap Verd's Independence (PAIGC) founded the new educational system, of which project consisted in transfering, temporarily, the students from the school to the field, because in the field these students were able to work with the countrymen, whom taught the basic notions about ultivation. Nevertheless, eleven years later, in 1986, when the economical liberalization had happened, the negligence with education began. This decadence seemed to invade every sectors in Guinea-Bissau, and the educational system was affected in all condicions it had. Consequently, the scholastic conditions became worse, and the installations became very precarious, together with the badly prepared teachers that started offering a teaching compatible with their own salaries. The Guinea-Bissau is a state in a process of fights for its institutional consolidation. The configuration the of guinean political organization is inconstant, and add to that, is permanently submited to the impacts of world-wide political and economical changes. The guinean educational system, and its evolution, reflect the condition of historical evolution in this country. The perspectives of guinean educational politics are subordinated to the consolidation of these changes | |
