| dc.description | Resumo: Nhandewa aywu é um estudo sobre a Fonologia da língua NhandewaGuarani, falada por comunidades indígenas do estado de São Paulo e norte do Paraná. O texto compõe-se de duas partes: A Etnia Nhandewa-Guarani e A língua dos Nhandewa-Guarani. Na primeira parte, trato o nome, a história e as características dialetais dessa etnia, além das migrações religiosas e do percurso até a fixação nas áreas atuais. A segunda parte, lingüística, é composta por três capítulos: o primeiro apresenta o inventário fonético e propõe uma interpretação para a fonologia; o segundo é uma discussão sobre a interpretação proposta e as oposições fundamentais da língua; o terceiro destaca dois processos relevantes na fonologia do Nhandewa-Guarani: a harmonia nasal e o desaparecimento da fricativa glotal /h/. | dc.description | Abstract: Nhandewa aywu is a phonological study about the Nhandewa-Guarani language, spoken by indigenous communites in São Paulo and northem Paraná states. This text has two sections: The Ethnic Group Nhandewa-Guarani and the Nhandewa-Guarani Language. In the first one, I discuss on Nhandewa name, history and dialectal features, furthermore to consider the religious nomadism and the route as far as the actual territorial fixation. The second is a linguistic one and has three chapters: the first presents the phonetic inventory and proposes a phonological interpretation; the second deals with a discussion about the interpretation proposed some lives above and the fundamental oppositions of the language; the third analyses two phonological relevant process in the language: the nasal harmony and the glottal fricative /h/ elimination.
