dc.descriptionOptical multicasting based on multiwavelength injection locking of a Fabry-Perot laser diode is proposed as a viable solution to implement real-time optical switching in WDM optical networks, reducing the impact of Rayleigh backscattering induced crosstalk in bidirectional transmission, and allowing full wavelength reuse.
