Resumen
The c-axis electrical resistivity of the stage-4 acceptor ZnCl2 graphite intercalated compound (GIC) has been measured in the temperature range (4.2-300)K. The obtained values are larger than those of Highly Oriented Pyrolytic Graphite (HOPG). Evidence for a change in the observed metallic tendency at 97K and a possible order-disorder transition at about 187K are also presented. According to a model by Sugihara, the conduction mechanism is a hopping process activated by phonons and impurities. In our sample, the activation by impurities is predominant over the whole temperature range. 32 5 921 923
