dc.descriptionWe present integral and differential cross sections for elastic scattering of electrons by OCS molecules for energies between 0.1 and 10 eV. We employ the Schwinger multichannel method with pseudopotentials in the static-exchange plus polarization approximation. We compare our results with available theoretical and experimental results and find good agreement in general. Our calculated integral cross section is strongly enhanced near zero energy which is an indication of a possible existence of an s-wave virtual state.
