dc.descriptionA formulation of an inequalities method for Eigenstructure Assignment (EA) in linear systems based upon the Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) problem is presented as multi-objective optimization problem. The weighting matrices that must satisfy the allocation are determined by a genetic algorithm implemented in a high performance parallel framework. The proposed method is tested on an aircraft model and the Eigenstructure Assignment is analyzed through modal techniques, where the input-state and output-state coupling degrees, as well as every eigenvector contribution in the composition of each state.
