dc.descriptionThe authors present a case of cervical esophageal laceration after endoscopic variceal band ligation caused by overtube. Complications of band ligation are not frequently described, but can be serious. This case had a good evolution with clinical treatment. The authors discuss the case and present a review of the literature about complications of band ligations.
