dc.descriptionMicrostrip lines are widely used in the design of planar structures for a number of reasons. One of the main applications is in the development of planar small antennas, i.e. when the device for accommodating the antenna has a restrict area. Each antenna or planar structure, in general, has an Electromagnetic Signature -EMS- that can be determined by scanning the structure appropriately. This work aim at presenting a qualitative method for the EMS determination of planar antennas using TDR - Time Domain Reflectometry - method.
