dc.description | This paper investigates a method which can be used to compress two-dimensional velocity fields measured with the scanning LDV. The compressed data can be used as virtual measurements when estimating modal parameters. The data is compressed spatially using a two-dimensional Fourier series model. The approximation reduces and filters the measured data in the output space for each frequency line. | |
