| dc.description | The Family in Disorder, written by historian and psychoanalyst Elizabeth Roudinesco, is one of the most positive contributions to the study of the families in the contemporary world. The author's thesis is that despite all the disorder, ranging from the loss of paternal power and homosexual couples, the institution of the family is surviving. According to her, the family is being claimed as the single value insurance to which nobody wants to renounce, regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation or social class.
