| dc.description | Neste artigo proponho analisar marcas e representações corporais de meninos e meninas de rua, fragmentos etnográficos que, longe de totalizar seu universo corporal, expressam no corpo a dinâmica itinerante, fracionada, múltipla, permeando a construção da sociabilidade dos sujeitos em questão. Através das marcas e técnicas corporais e de negociações de gênero, pude entrever um “saber de rua” calcado no deslocamento espacial contínuo, e em interações sociais construídas no e através do espaço urbano. Os embates entre valores normativos impostos a essas crianças e adolescentes e as práticas próprias da contingência da rua dotam seus códigos sociais de ambigüidades e contradições.AbstractIn this article I investigate bodily marks and representations of boys and girls who live in the streets. The ethnographic fragments here analyzed express the itinerant, ruptured, multiple dynamics that permeate the constructions of the sociability of these children andadolescents. Through body techniques, marks and through gender negotiations, I could glimpse a “street knowledge” based on continuous spatial dislocation and on social interactions constructed in and by the urban space. The conflict between normative values and practices that are linked to the contingency of the streets endow the social codes of these boys and girls of ambiguities and contradictions. | |
