dc.description.abstractSummary. The DNA quantity in different isoenzymic strains of Trypanosoma cruzi appears to be the same among these strains. This seems to indicate that these strains have the same ploidy. Genetic distances may be used for the taxonomy of the isoenzymic strains of T. cruzi.
