| dc.description | La problemática de determinar si el graffiti en Guayaquil es o no una designación
artística para su expansión dentro del casco urbano y su regeneración, es algo que
se ha venido manejando desde hace muchos años atrás.
El graffiti en Guayaquil ha sido desde siempre un tema de debate en el que se
involucran autoridades competentes, artistas urbanos y la sociedad, cada uno con
sus posturas, discursos e intereses propios frente a este tipo de actividad. Si lo
comparamos con la ciudad de Cuenca podremos ver su institucionalidad y el apoyo
que este recibe, que más allá de “restar”, suma cultura y desarrollo artístico,
pudiendo ser un ejemplo a seguir para el puerto principal. El estudio de esta
problemática será analizado desde el ámbito social, territorial y estético;; volteando
su contextualización de actividad delictiva, con el fin de resaltar la debida valoración
que se le debe dar al graffiti artístico dentro de la urbe porteña y el aporte cultural
que esta puede ofrecer a la regeneración urbana. | |
| dc.description | The problem of determining whether graffiti in Guayaquil is an artistic expression
that should be expanded within the urban and regenerated areas is something that
has been discussed for many years.
Graffiti in Guayaquil has always been a debatable topic which involves city
authorities, urban artists and society in general, each party with a particular posture
based on their own interests on the topic. If we compare this situation with the reality
of Cuenca, it becomes evident the support graffiti receive and that it contributes to
the artistic and cultural development of the city, which can be placed as an example
to be followed. The study of this dilemma will be analyzed from the social,
geographical and aesthetic perspectives, discouraging the negative connotation it
receives as a delictive activity with the purpose of highlighting the valorization that
artistic graffiti should receive within Guayaquil and the cultural input it can offer to
the urban regeneration project. | |
