dc.descriptionEl slogan “Ecuador, potencia turística” demuestra que el Ecuador cuenta con una importante cantidad de recursos turísticos existentes de gran valor el turismo, así como la infraestructura y servicios turísticos en todo su territorio; en el caso de la provincia de Azuay, se puede encontrar gran cantidad de recursos turísticos con potencial, que no han sido desarrollados aún. El turismo en la provincia se centra principalmente en los cantones: Cuenca, Gualaceo y Chordeleg, con una motivación estrictamente cultural; ya sea por su arquitectura, gastronomía o artesanía, dejando relegadas las condiciones de temperatura, áreas naturales, el caudal de los ríos, la diversidad y belleza de los paisajes de la región, mismas que permiten el desarrollo de gran cantidad de actividades turísticas. En el presente trabajo, se abordan las actividades de turismo de aventura que se pueden desarrollar en Cuenca y sus parroquias, con el fin de diseñar dos rutas de turismo de aventura en las parroquias Cumbe, Llacao, Sinincay y Tarqui, así como los y operadores proveedores de estas actividades necesarios para la realización de rutas de aventura dirigidas a niños entre ocho y doce años de edad.
dc.descriptionThe slogan "Ecuador, Potencia Turística" shows us that Ecuador has a large amount of existing tourist resources of great value for the development of tourism, as well as tourism infrastructure and services throughout its territory; in the case of the province of Azuay, we can find the tourist resources with great potential which have not yet been developed at all. Tourism in the province mainly focuses on the cantons: Cuenca, Gualaceo and Chordeleg, with a strictly cultural motivation; whether for its architecture, gastronomy or handcrafts, leaving the conditions of temperature, natural areas, the flow of rivers, the diversity and beauty of the landscapes of the region, which allow the development of many tourist activities. In the present work, the adventure tourism activities that can be developed in Cuenca and its parishes are included, in order to develop adventure tourism routes in the parishes of Cumbe, Llacao, Sinincay and Tarqui, as well as the operators and providers of these activities necessary for the development of adventure routes aimed at children between eight and twelve years old.
