| dc.description | Esta investigación monográfica tiene como objetivo principal analizar la migración, familia y remesas, en cuánto a las estructuras de las familias de migrantes en la parroquia Chiquintad, para lo cual se realizó un trabajo de campo a través entrevistas estructuradas a diez miembros de familias de migrantes, a fin de poder determinar la situación actual que viven estas familias, verificar si las remesas han incrementado el nivel de ingreso y si han servido de apoyo en el sostenimiento de la economía local de las familias entrevistadas. Este trabajo también está dirigido a investigar a diez familias de la parroquia Chiquintad desde una visión de género, conocer cómo se modifican las relaciones al interior de las familias, como se reorganizan los roles y quienes asumen el rol de cuidadores. Adicionalmente se analizan cifras obtenidas del Banco Central del Ecuador, del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Estadísticas y Censos y de estudios realizados por FLACSO, las mismas que resultan fundamentales para conocer el incremento o disminución de las remesas, el uso que se les da a las mismas, así como el porcentaje de inversión a nivel nacional y local. | |
| dc.description | This monographic research has as main objective to analyze the migration, family and remittances, as far as the structures and practices of the families of migrants in the parish Chiquintad, For which a field work was carried out through structured interviews with ten members of migrant families, in order to determine the current situation of these families, verify if remittances have increased the level of income and if they have served as support In sustaining the local economy of the families interviewed.. This work is also aimed at investigating ten families from the Chiquintad parish from a gender perspective, to understand how relationships within families are modified, how roles are reorganized, and who assume the role of caregivers.
