| dc.description | El Cementerio Patrimonial de Cuenca constituye un lugar de gran riqueza histórica, estética, social-religiosa y económica; cuyos bienes tangibles e intangibles están íntimamente asociados a la identidad Cuencana.
En la presente tesis, mediante una investigación documental y trabajo de campo, se diseñó un Plan de Gestión para el Cementerio Patrimonial de Cuenca, que se ha construido en base al diagnóstico actual del sitio, valoración y problemática, para establecer políticas de manejo y distintas estrategias cuyo fin es demostrar la utilidad y las ventajas que tiene la implementación de un plan idóneo de gestión para estos sitios patrimoniales funerarios.
El Cementerio Patrimonial de Cuenca posee diversos problemas, sin embargo goza de un fuerte potencial que se puede utilizar como difusor de cultura debido a sus distintas manifestaciones. Por lo tanto, su salvaguarda, basada en la ejecución de un Plan de Gestión eficaz, contribuye a rescatar no solo su materialidad sino su identidad. | |
| dc.description | Cuenca´s patrimonial cemetery represents a place of great historical, aesthetic and socio-religious wealth, whose tangible and intangible assets are intimately associated with the identity of Cuenca.
This thesis, through documentary research and field work, sets out to design a management plan for Cuenca’s patrimonial cemetery, put together on the basis of a current site analysis, evaluation, and examination of problematic issues in order to establish management policies and strategies, the ultimate purpose of which is to demonstrate the usefulness and advantages of implementing a suitable management plan for such a patrimonial funeral site.
Cuenca´s patrimonial cemetery possesses various problems; nevertheless, it embodies strong potential that can be utilised as a cultural disseminator due to its distinct means of cultural expression. Moreover, the safeguarding of such a site based on the execution of an effective management plan would contribute to recovering not only the cemetery’s outward appearance but also its identity. | |
