| dc.description | Los principios de la preparación del diente se dividen habitualmente en tres partes fundamentales: biológicos, biomecánicos y estéticos. Los factores biológicos influyen en la salud de los tejidos periodontal y pulpar; los biomecánicos (o técnicos), van a afectar la integridad y durabilidad de las restauraciones, y factores estéticos se refieren a la apariencia natural de las restauraciones, y factores estéticos se refieren a la apariencia natural de las restauraciones. Estos principios son rutinariamente modificados para adaptarse a diversas situaciones clínicas.
Una adecuada preparación de la pieza dentaria destinada a un tratamiento prostodóntico deberá permitir la reproducción exitosa de los contornos anatómicos y perfiles de emergencia. Además brindar un espesor apropiado para cada tipo de estructura, sin superar las limitaciones de cada material, así como mantener la integridad biológica de los tejidos involucrados | |
