| dc.description | La falta de conocimiento de la normativa y su difusión, impide que los ecuatorianos accedan a los derechos y beneficios que otorga el Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social a través de los denominados “Regímenes de Afiliación”, tema de trascendental importancia, pues mediante ellos, las ciudadanas y ciudadanos, se convierten en beneficiarios de un conjunto de prestaciones tendientes a dar vigor al “buen vivir” que pregona y garantiza nuestra Norma Normorum, Carta Magna o llamada también Constitución de la República, norma fundamental que rige la vida de nuestro ordenamiento jurídico vigente.
En este sentido, con la presente monografía lo que se pretende es proporcionar a la ciudadanía en general, una compilación normativa sobre el tema en mención y sobre las prestaciones sociales y económicas que ofrece el IESS a los asegurados y la forma de acceder a ellas; por ello es que se iniciará haciendo alusión a los Antecedentes de la Seguridad Social, para luego referirse a la Seguridad Social dentro del Ecuador conjuntamente con cada uno de sus Regímenes de Afiliación y obviamente a la Responsabilidad y Mora Patronal en la que incurren los Empleadores o Patronos por el incumplimiento de sus obligaciones; abarcando de esta manera, temas puntuales que resultan ser importantes de conocer y entender. | |
| dc.description | The lack of knowledge of the law and its dissemination prevents Ecuadorians access to rights and benefits granted by the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security through the so-called Affiliate Regimens. This is an issue of vital importance as through these Regimens,citizens become beneficiaries of a range of services designed to invigorate the good life that advocates and ensures our standard Normorum, Magna Carta,or also called the Constitution of the Republic, being the basic law which governs the life of our legal system force.
In this sense, with the presentation of this paper which aims to provide a legislation compilation on the subject in question to the general public,and on the social and economic benefits offered by the IESS to policyholders and how to access them, we will start by referring to the history of Social Security, and then refer to the Social Security within Ecuador, together with each of its Affiliation Regimens and, obviously with the Employers Late Fee Liability incurred by the Employer or employers for breach of their obligations; encompassing therefore specific issues that are important to know and understand. | |
