dc.descriptionObjetivo General: Determinar los resultados del tratamiento con Esferodinamia para Lumbago no específico en los pacientes entre 45 a 55 años de edad que acudieron al servicio de Rehabilitación y Terapia Física en el Hospital “José Carrasco Arteaga” Cuenca, Noviembre 2013 – ¬Mayo 2014. Metodología: Estudio Cuasi-Experimental no controlado pre-post. Se identificaron casos de Lumbago no específico de acuerdo al diagnóstico según la CIE-10. Se realizó una evaluación mediante la Escala Visual Análoga previamente a la intervención para determinar el grado de dolor del paciente, posterior al tratamiento se realizó una evaluación final, utilizando la misma escala a fin de conocer el efecto del tratamiento, el cual constó de la aplicación de la Esferodinamia mediante ejercicios de fortalecimiento y estiramiento muscular usando balones terapéuticos de 55 a 75cm de diámetro. Los datos extraídos se analizaron y organizaron mediante el programa estadístico SPSS 21, usando gráficos y tablas, representando de esta manera los resultados encontrados. Resultados: Al inicio del tratamiento con los valores obtenidos en la prueba de dolor se demostró que el 83,78% de participantes sintieron dolor intenso (7-8-9-10), en contraste con la evaluación de dolor final en donde el 51,35% culminó con dolor leve (1-2-3) y el 40,54% no presentó dolor al terminar el tratamiento. Al comparar el dolor antes y después del tratamiento, se encontró una diferencia significativamente estadística (p=0,000).
dc.descriptionGeneral Objective: determining the results about the Esferodinamia applied for unspecific low back pain in patients in age between 45- 55 years old, who were attending in the Hospital “José Carrasco Arteaga” Cuenca, November 2013 – -May 2014. Methodology: this is a Non controled pre-pos cuasi experimental study, in patients between 45-55 years old who were attending in the Hospital “José Carrasco Arteaga” Cuenca, November 2013 – May 2014. The cases of unspecific low back pain were diagnostic by CIE-10. In this study was performed a previous pain evaluation to show the degree of pain, then the treatment was performed, and then a new pain evaluation to show the effect of treatment, that were an application of muscular strengthening and stretching using fit balls of 55 to 75 diameters. The figures were analyzed and organized by the statistics programs SPSS 21, here were used tables and graphics, showing in this way the funded results. Results: In the begin of this treatment the figures gets in first pain test shows that 83,78% of participants felt high pain (7-8-9-10) in Visual Analogue Scale, in opposite case on the final pain were 51,35% of patients finished the treatment with low pain (1-2-3) and 40,54% didn’t felt pain in the treatment’s ending. Comparing pain before and after treatment by Mc Nemar Chi2 test, a statistically significant difference (p = 0.000) was found. Conclusion: At the end of the study it was observed that the treatment had a positive impact on the 91,89% of the participants.
