dc.descriptionLa importancia que la industria hotelera cuencana como tal tiene en la actualidad es relevante, gracias a ella, existen lugares de pernoctación a donde acuden día a día, no solo turistas nacionales sino también internacionales. En Santa Ana de los Ríos de Cuenca, existen hoteles categorizados desde cinco a una estrella, en la presente investigación se propone la elaboración de tres matrices para evaluar la sostenibilidad turística de hoteles de tercera categoría. Los cuatro hoteles que forman parte de este grupo son: Gran Hotel, Norte, Pichincha y Tito; el objetivo principal de estas matrices es evaluar hasta qué punto estos establecimientos son sosteniblemente turísticos, no solo desde la perspectiva ambiental sino también social y económica. Para ello, se propone la aplicación de tres Fichas-Matriz de evaluación, gracias a las cuales se podrá obtener información relevante para obtener un diagnóstico de la situación ambiental, social y económica de cada uno de los establecimientos hoteleros de tercera categoría de la ciudad.
dc.descriptionThe importance of Cuenca's hotels is outstanding. Thanks to it, there are overnight places where national and international tourists go day after day. In Santa Ana de los Ríos de Cuenca, there are hotels categorized from five to one stars. This research aims to elaborate three matrices to evalue the touristic sustainability of third category hotels. The four hotels that as part of the group are: Gran Hotel, Norte, Pichincha, and Tito. The principal objective of these matrices is to evalue the peak of the touristic sustainability, not only from the environmental perspective, but also from the social and economic perspectives. For this purpose was proposed the three piece matrix evaluation. Thanks to this system, it will be possible to have the most important information to get a diagnosis of the environmental, social, and economic situations of third category establishments of the city.
