| dc.description | Es un estudio transversal realizado en 986 mujeres que acudieron al Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso para parto. El estado nutricional se determinó con las curvas para ganancia de peso en la mujer gestante dispuestas en el Formulario 51A 2011 SNS MSP/HCU.- Hipótesis: La prevalencia de sobrepeso y obesidad en las gestantes de nuestro medio es mayor que a nivel nacional, y se asocia con mayor frecuencia a complicaciones maternas y perinatales, que aquellas que tienen peso normal.- Resultados: La prevalencia de sobrepeso u obesidad fue 10.1%. Las complicaciones obstétricas y perinatales que estuvieron asociadas fueron: diabetes gestacional (RP 9.94, IC 2.04-9.94, p 0.003); trastornos hipertensivos del embarazo (RP 6.98, IC 4.94 -9.31, p: 0.000); labor de parto prolongada (RP 2.93, IC 1.62-6.47, p:0.002); inducción de la labor de parto (RP 4.31, IC 2.61-6-47, p: 0.000); macrosomía fetal(RP 6.24, IC 4.32 - 8.47, p: 0.000); Estado Fetal no Satisfactorio (RP 4.31, IC 2.62-4.84, p: 0.000); cesárea (RP 4.31, IC 2.62-4.84, p: 0.000).- Conclusiones: La prevalencia de sobrepeso-obesidad en nuestra población está en relación a la existente a nivel internacional, y los resultados fueron estadísticamente significados para la asociación con complicaciones obstétricas y perinatales planteadas.au | |

Methodology: A cross-sectional study in 986 women who attended the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso for delivery. Nutritional status was determined with the curves for weight gain in pregnant women arranged on Form 51A - 2011 SNS -MSP/HCU.
Hypothesis: The prevalence of overweight and obesity in pregnant women in our area is higher than nationally, and is most often associated with maternal and perinatal complications, than those with normal weight.
Results: The prevalence of overweight or obesity was 10.1%. Obstetric and perinatal complications that were associated were: gestational diabetes (OR 9.94, CI 2.04-9.94, p 0.003), hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (OR 6.98, CI 4.94 -9.31, p: 0.000), prolonged labor (OR 2.93 , CI 1.62-6.47, p = 0.002), induction of labor (OR 4.31, CI 2.61-6-47, p: 0.000), fetal macrosomia (OR 6.24, CI 4.32 - 8.47, p: 0.000), State Satisfactory stillbirth (OR 4.31, CI 2.62-4.84, p = 0.000), cesarean section (OR 4.31, CI 2.62-4.84, p = 0.000).
Conclusions: The prevalence of overweight-obesity in our population is related to the existing internationally, and the results were statistically significance for association with obstetric and perinatal complications raised.
