dc.descriptionThis research work is a case study based on the analysis and description of the adoption of the concept of South-South Cooperation within the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) regarding whether or not it influences the strengthening of the strengthening of regional integration From this, a description is made of the historical background of the concept of CSS as well as of the appropriation that UNASUR makes of this concept. Likewise, a descriptive analysis of the projects, initiatives and activities that have been carried out in the matter of CSS from UNASUR is established, with the particular that the analysis is made of the political and security agenda of this mechanism. In this sense, it is concluded that the CSS is used only to strengthen the political discourse of UNASUR and not the South American integration as such, since the projects carried out for this purpose are significant
dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo de investigación es un caso de estudio basado en el análisis y descripción de la adopción del concepto de Cooperación Sur-Sur en el seno de la Unión de Naciones Suramericanas (UNASUR) respecto si influye o no en el fortalecimiento en el fortalecimiento de la integración regional. A partir de esto, se realiza una descripción de los antecedentes históricos del concepto de CSS así como también de la apropiación que hace UNASUR de este concepto. Así mismo, se establecen se realiza un análisis descriptivo de los proyectos, iniciativas y actividades que se han realizado en materia de CSS desde UNASUR, con el particular que el análisis se realiza de la agenda política y de seguridad de este mecanismo. En ese sentido, se concluye que la CSS es utilizada únicamente para fortalecer el discurso político de UNASUR y no la integración suramericana como tal, pues los proyectos realizados para el efecto son significativos
