dc.description.abstractThe objective of this degree work was the design and implementation of a wireless network of intelligent sensors for the supervision and control of watering of the blueberry plots in the experimental center of watering of Polytechnic School of Chimborazo that consists in an electronic system of wireless sensors based on cards of Arduino development. The system was structured in a net topology like a grid; that allows to measure ground humidity and room temperature being able to take decisions about when and how to water, three nodes were designed and implemented: sensor, actuator and control. For the system was developed a movie application that maintains a Bluetooth communication for the visualization of node sensor readings; the data were receipted and visualized in real time, besides the obtained information is shown in graphic way and stored in the free platform ThinkSpeak, in the same way the information is stored in a SD micro memory in the control node. The Natural Recourses Faculty was the scenery for the measuring and result taking of the implemented system, taking samples for eight followed days. It was proved that the humidity sensor presents an error of ±2 centibars and the temperature one of ±1% demonstrating that the system doesn’t incorporate error to the sensors and that it is reliable. The results showed that the implemented wireless system maintains a communication without losses in distances of 300 meters in line of straight sight with a potency of reception of -58 dBm. For the detailed characteristics this system represents a helpful tool for the information collection for researchers applicable in several crops. It is recommended to develop studies for increasing the capacity to collect information of solar light, wind speed, rainfall among others.
