dc.descriptionEl objetivo de esta investigación fue realizar el diseño y la creación de un software educativo para el reconocimiento de emociones en niños con autismo, del Instituto de Educación Especial “Carlos Garbay” de la ciudad de Riobamba. En la actualidad el Ecuador ha venido trabajando por una educación inclusiva que permita a cada uno de los niños que tengan algún tipo discapacidad ser parte de una educación digna. Se recabó información mediante investigación bibliográfica permitiendo obtener material específico de los niños con autismo como su comportamiento, formas de aprendizaje, malla curricular adaptadas y las ventajas que tiene la Tecnología de la Información y Comunicación (TIC´S), y las diferentes aplicaciones que existen para el desarrollo de los alumnos autistas. Se realizó una entrevista a la coordinadora del área de autismo del instituto y encuestas a las docentes a cargo de las aulas. Una vez recopilada la información se procedió con la etapa de diseño, basada en la metodológica de diseño por Bruce Arche, para el diseño y desarrollo del software educativo se tomó la metodología de Peré Marqués. Como resultado final se obtuvo la marca como identidad del software educativo, la maquetación donde se muestra el tamaño y posición de cada elemento de la interfaz, mapa de navegación muestra la funcionalidad de la navegación, desarrollo del software educativo, el manual de usuario donde se muestra paso a paso su funcionalidad. Se concluye que el software está diseñado y desarrollado para satisfacer las necesidades de los niños autistas del instituto. Se recomienda realizar más convenios entre instituciones públicas o privadas que cuenten con ramas tecnológicas en su plan de estudios, con instituciones de educación especial, para aportar con el bien común de la educación equitativa e inclusiva.
dc.descriptionThe objective of this research was to design and create educational software for the recognition of emotions in children with autism, from the Carlos Garbay Special Education Institute in the city of Riobamba. At present, Ecuador has been working for an inclusive education that allows each child with some form of disability to be part of a decent education. Information was collected through bibliographic research to obtain specific material for children with autism, such as behavior, learning styles, adapted curriculum and the advantages that the Technology of Information and Communication (TICS) have, and the different applications that exist for the development of autistic students. An interview was conducted with the autism coordinator of the institute and surveys to teachers in charge of the classrooms. Once the information was collected we proceeded with the design stage based on the design methodology by Bruce Arce, for the design and development of the educational software we took the methodology of Pére Marqués. As a final result, the brand was obtained as an identity of the educational software, the layout showing the size and position of each element of the interface, the navigation map shows navigation functionality, educational software development, user manual where it is shown step by step its functionality. It is concluded that the software is designed and developed to meet the needs of autistic children of the institute. It is recommended to make more agreements between public and private institutions that have technological branches in their curriculum, with institutions of special education, to contribute with the common good of equitable and inclusive education.
