Evaluación del riesgo ambiental originado por el derrame de combustible en la línea PK-128 del cantón La Concordia Santo Domingo en el periodo 2011 – 2015.

Abstract

The enviromental risks caused by the fuel spill in the line PK-128 of the Concordia-Santo Domingo Canton were characterised by the level of contamination of the soil, there was a rupture of the clamp that crosses the Santo Esmeraldas poly duct Sunday Petroecuador EP. As this is purely agricultural sector, an environmental impact study was required to analyse soil afectation. The method for this research was as follow. A bibliographic review for the creation of the baseline and the collection of the analyses issued during the years 2011 to 2015, data were tabulated using SPSS for characterizing the level of contamination, data mining and predictions that allow inferring in the future forecast were applied. The standard UNE 150008:2008 evaluated environments such as human, ecological and socioeconomic factors that served to create a matrix of environmental risk prevention plan. The results showed that the contingency and mitigation actions allowed minimising the degree of contamination, wich presented a moderate risk of 42%. It is concluded that the data are within the parameters permissible according to the TULSMA, however the human and natural environments present a serious risk. When doing an investigation is recommended not to rely on a methodology already raised since it can give us a superficial value, which does not indicate how the sector really is, while if we test with more methodologies we will be able to realize how deep the investigation is and what has caused the spill in a more detailed way.
