dc.description.abstractThis research details the implementation of a maintenance plan for the equipment of the Thermics, Materials and Resistance Laboratories of the Faculty of Mechanics, through the application of the SisMAC software. An investigation was carried out in the laboratories of the Faculty of Mechanics, arriving at the conclusion that the maintenance plans were not the most suitable for the equipment of these laboratories. The methodology used is Reliability Centered Maintenance, due to the high advantages it presents over other methodologies. It began with the codification of the equipment, the determination of criticality, the technical state and finally it was specified the proactive tasks to be carried out in function of the parameters previously determined; giving priority in maintenance activities to the most critical equipment and those whose technical status is low. In the maintenance plan, the SisMAC software assists in the execution of it, by means of this it is optimized the administration of maintenance and the handling of the technical documentation. In this software, all collected data are entered, from coding to the task determination for each equipment, the software facilitates the administration of each preventive, proactive or corrective activity to be performed, thus allowing the compliance of the maintenance plan in the laboratories. The application of his project offers the best response to any type of fault that may arise, superior handling of technical documentation, increased availability, reliability, maintainability and safety in equipment. By correctly applying the maintenance plan ensures the operation of equipment for student use. As the technology progresses, the information of the technical status cards can be supplemented with the help of another type of diagnosis or equipment based on the condition.
