5
) 1982 mg/L, Demanda Química de Oxígeno (DQO) 2450 mg/L, Sólidos
Totales Disueltos (TDS) 16.8 g/L, cloruros 16.3 g/L, conductividad 27.9 mSiems/cm. En la
etapa de pelambre: Demanda Biológica de Oxígeno DBO
xxiv
5
2920 mg/L, DQO 3870 mg/L,
Sólidos Totales Disueltos TDS 15.1 g/L, sólidos sedimentables 35 ml/L, conductividad 27.2
mSiems/cm.
5
1455 mg/L,
Demanda Química de Oxígeno DQO 1852 mg/L, Sólidos Totales Disueltos TDS 31.8 g/L,
conductividad 54 mSiems/cm, cromo hexavalente 2.21 mg/L. En la etapa recurtido siendo:
Demanda Biológica de Oxígeno DBO
5
1970 mg/L, Demanda Química de Oxígeno DQO 2920
mg/L, Sólidos Totales Disueltos TDS 8.9 g/L, conductividad 16.3 mSiems/cm, cromo
hexavalente 1.3 mg/L.
medio Ambiente. It was designed a system of treatment of waste water for the wash step, liming, dyeing, tanning
and retanning, to the tannery San Vicente, located in the city of Ambato Tungurahua province in
the Indoamérica Avenue y Virgen del Cisne parish Atahualpa. The research study began using
the deductive method in recognition of the different processes that are conducted in the
company later to realized the determination of the effluent. Then held the physicochemical
analysis of wastewater samples in the washing stage obtaining the following results: Biological
demand of oxygen (BOD
5
) 1982 mg/L, chemical demand of oxigen (COD) 2450 mg/L, Total
solids disolved (TDS) 16.8 g/L, chlorides 16.3 g/L, conductivity 27.9 mSiems/cm. At the stage
of liming: Biological demand of oxygen (BOD

(COD) 3870 mg/L, Total solids disolved (TDS) 15.1 g/L, settleable solids 35 ml/L, conductivity
27.2 mSiems/cm. At the tanning stage being: Biological demand of oxygen (BOD

) 1455 mg/L,
chemical demand of oxigen (COD) 1852 mg/L, Total solids disolved (TDS) 31.8 g/L,
conductivity 54 mSiems/cm, hexavalent chromiun 2.21 mg/L. In the retanning being stage:
Biological demand of oxygen (BOD

) 1970 mg/L, chemical demand of oxigen (COD) 2920
mg/L, Total solids disolved (TDS) 8.9 g/L, conductivity 16.3 mSiems/cm, hexavalent chromiun
1.3 mg/L. At the stage of being dyed: Biological demand of oxygen (BOD

) 1240 mg/L,
chemical demand of oxigen (COD) 2360 mg/L, Total solids disolved (TDS) 4.94 g/L,
conductivity 10.3 mSiems/cm. After having characterized in a way physicochemical samples
and results that are above the maximun permissible limits established by the unified text of the
secondary legislation of the environment (TULSMA), table 8 annex I book VI, it was
determined the components of the treatment system, in which it is constituted of three systems
of treatment. The first system which corresponds to the discharge of procces water: washing and
liming, it is constituted for; mesh, landfill, grids, tank of primary aeration, flocculation,
coagulation, dacanting and aeration final. The second system that correspond to the water
discharge from the procceses: tanning and retanning is constituted by: mesh, landfill, grids, tank
of homogenization, slow sand filter and aeration final. The third system corresponds to the
water of discarge of the proccess of dyeing it is constituted for: tank of flocculation, decantation
and discharges to the system of public sewerage. The application of the proposed system and
the design of the plant of treatment of wastewater, it will achieve that the waters of discharge of
the company expire with the parameters indicated in the regulation thus safeguarding the
preservation of a sustainable environment. It is recommended the implementation of the
treatment system in which benefits its corporate image, help comply with current environmental
laws and controlling the generation of pollution produced to have a sustainable development in
the envorinment.
