Resumen
The following technological proposal is directed to the implementation of a control and monitoring system, through the use of video cameras surveillance of wireless operation, it may be a support for the workshop of computer aided design /computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) from the School of Industrial Engineering. This project is developed whit taking into consideration necessary parameters of acquisition of the suitable system and the ideal installation of the above mentioned system, this workshop is away from the Information Technologies benefits such as access to the internet, a system of operation with local area network (LAN) was installed with the help of free software Internet Protocol (IP) Video System Design Tool 8, and a relevant study to choose the best system was made, which is a tool that provides guidelines for a proper functioning of the video surveillance system. The software provided information with respect to: angles of location, heights, tilt angles to improve the field of vision of each camera, the resolution that must have the surveillance equipment according to the area that want to monitor and the distance to the recording target. The system was also chosen by the characteristics of the workshop structure, the environmental conditions, the system of connection between equipment and the type of cameras that comply with the requirements for monitoring, one of them the remote access to these computers. The results obtained from the implementation were satisfactory, making monitoring. The system was evaluated to check all the operating parameters and configuration getting the best image quality in the recordings in the day and in the night. The system implemented covered all the needs of monitoring and operation optima of equipment.
