dc.description | The objective of this research was to determine the influence of electricity consumption in the
generation of solid waste for the proposed rates convertion and representative elements that
determine the per capita production of municipal solid waste Guano Canton as a tool for
reducing labor field, personal savings, budget and time, which may be useful for the
municipality of this city better management strategies for rapid response to emerging chaos.
Contrasting sampling techniques established in the Ministry of Urban Development and
Ecology and the Pan American Center for Sanitary Engineering and Environmental Sciences
which was used in the analysis of the components to get the total Per Capita Production (PCP)
the canton and after completion of the characterization and determining the components of the
residue elements, the PCP could be obtained for each component. Simultaneously the PCP of its
various components related by correlations with per capita consumption of electricity, it was
determined with the seizure of power consumption, KWH of each house of the sample and thus
redefines the elements commonalities. Databases were obtained with the SPSS statistical
program, in which all variables related analyzed. 81.3% of organic matter was generated, also
high commonalities was obtained between the most determining organic matter, plastic, per
capita product total, per capita product of organic matter and per capita product of plastic, and
these, while the community between data power consumption and solid waste generation was
low in 0.35%. So it is concluded that there is no influence between the two variables. It is
recommended not measure other determinants that differ in the influence, and the use of the
elements which determine the PCP because it is a tool that minimizes the sampling work.
