Resumen
The research had as objetive to establish an architecture for the transmission of Digital Terrestrial
Television, several studies were taken referring to the subject that pose different infrastructures for
the implementation of television channels, Using a methodology that by level of depth is
descriptive, documentary application, analyzing the most used standards that currently exist the
world: DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial), DVB-T2 (Digital Video Broadcasting
Terrestrial 2) and ISDB-T (Terrestrial Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting). In order to
understand the correct behavior of the ISDB-Tb (Terrestrial integrated Services Digital
Broadcasting International) standard, it will start with the development and operation of the
standard DVB-T standard used by most of Europe, Asia and Africa and according to several criteria
the simplest of all . The main advantages of the ISDB-T standard will be described, and the main
advantages of the new system will be defined, demonstrating that the ISDB-Tb standard allows the
transfer of several programs in the 6 MHz bandwidth which can be up to four Or six programs
requiring the video quality to which they will be transmitted, whether in SD, HD or LD,
recommending that the new system of television transmission forces to the local and regional
television channels to establish new strategies to provide the user quality content and be able to
compete with national channels and be able to recover the investment.
