Resumen
The application of a methodology based on neuro linguistics programming (NLP) using educational software with which the teaching-learning process of mathematics improves in eighth year students of basic education at the educational unit Amelia Gallegos Diaz located in Riobamba – Chimborazo. Lack of mastery of mathematics, has allowed to develop a methodology using the educational software SOFTMATPNL will improve learning and mastery of math in multiplication tables and fourd four basic operations with whole numbers to solve everyday problems. The aim was to develop a neuro linguistics programming (NLP) through an educational software to improve the teaching-learning process of mathematics in eighth year of basic education students. The scientific method, quasi-experimental and hardware resources were used: 20 computers, printer; SOFTMATPNL educational software based on the methodology REMOPNL, neobook, authoring tools. The techniques used were: the interview, survey, direct observation, and bibliographies for theoretical ad scientific support, data collection, analysis of the evidence before the REMOPNL methodology. The result obtained in learning mathematics when SOFTMATPNL C was applied to eighth year students applied through neurolinguistic programming under the technical system of sensory representation (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) was 43.7% performance in solving multiplication tables. 51.9% performance, in ordering and representing integers on the number line, in generating sequences with integers according to specifications given reached a significant change 52.1% and 49, 4% in solving operations with integers. To test the hypothesis the Student t statistic was applied with the following results: t calculated is 21.13 and table (critical) is from 3.18 to 3 degrees of freedom and a significance level of 0, 05; therefore the calculated t is greater than the critical 21.13> 3.18, so the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted, determining that the methodology based on neurolinguistic programming (NLP) using educational software improves learning of mathematics in eighth year of basic general education students of the educational unit "Amelia Diaz Gallegos". It is recommended to use the REMOPNL methodology with the mathematical educational software SOFTMATPNL in the process of learning of mathematics with students of eighth general basic year and other basic years to enhance knowledge, this way allows the student technologically get powerful and required skills.
