Abstract

In the current research, it was designed a proposal of educational intervention about the preconceiving risk factors in women in child-bearing age at Nueva Esperanza community during June 2015 to June 2016 period. It was performed a research of technological development, non-experimental cross-sectional, descriptive and inferential, with a universe of 125 women in child-bearing age who suited to criteria of inclusion and exclusion. Data collection was done through a survey to know the socio demographical and knowledge data of the woman at the child-bearing age about pre conceiving risks. The information processing showed that the knowledge about risks factors was inadequate with 60,8%, evidencing a higher unawareness of the topic while the rate of adequate with 39,2% show a very low level, with a direct influence of educational reflected with 43,2% who had secondary education. The group which outstood in the study was form 20 to 35 years with a couple. The level of schooling medium low overcame the higher level. Woman with pregnancy background of one or three children were the most frequent, additionally miscarries were frequent in woman over 35. It was concluded that those surveyed women do not have enough knowledge about this problem, evidencing the need to work on a strategy of educational intervention. The application of this strategy is recommended in order to boost the knowledge about pre conceiving risk and so, improving the life quality of the women of the community.
