Resumen
In the laboratory skins tannery in the FAS of ESPOCH, a mechanical propotype fleshing RVC001 was implemented using descriptive statistics to assess the results of the four samples of stark leather in Riobamba and four in Ambato. Once implemented the fleshing machine, it was determined that its useful working width was 590 mm on average, it should be taken into account that the maximum speed of fleshing is 165 seconds per skin, and the machine will work a total capacity of 3, 58 KW, to achieve an efficient fleshing. Assessment stark through comparing both physical results as sensory a fleshing same characteristics which belong to the tannery J & L, it was founded that the responses are similar, with the difference that the machine was used to validate the results is of foreign origin. Equipment efficiency was 75,5 % on average; that is why its manufacture is considered economically profitable because the total construction cost is 4995,6 dollars and compare with its counterparts can cost at best and often rebuilt or second hand about 25000 dollars, there is a considerable saving without compromising the quality of the process for which it was designed, thus sign that the technology of our country both labor and materials, is top quality, including competitive with foreign teams.
