Caracterización del sistema de producción de ganado lechero en la Hacienda Monte Carmelo

Abstract

In the farm “Monte Carmelo”, located in the San Isidro de Patulú Parish from Guano Canton, Chimborazo province, the characterization of the production of the dairy cattle was done, the total cost for the production of the milk in the farm was $ 188.762,31 the variable costs represent 25,16% of the inversion ($47498,37), meanwhile the 74,84% was represented by the fixed costs ($141263,947).The milk production average per month was 1495,58 daily with an average of 160 animals in production taking into consideration the fixed and variable costs that determined that the cost per litter of milk produced is 0,326 cents and according to the registers in this period it was sold at 0,47 cents obtaining a utility per litter for 0.47 cents; the results indicated that the economic efficiency of this fiscal year exercise of 2014, based on the analysis of the productive registers of all its components determined that the farm was going to be maintain with a benefit/cost of 1,22; which results satisfactory most of all in the actual moments where the competency is fake with products of other countries.
