Establishing that the company is the source of support for families in the area, however it was observed several negative impacts that can be controlled. The analysis of the checklists identify the 80% of actions taken (potable water), a 63.64% of actions taken (discharge of waste water) and 55.56% of actions do not fulfill. Analysis of the liquid waste shows an increase in the pollutant load. By structuring the Environmental Management Plan, it was necessary to consider the different processes, its protagonists and factors affected, by where enunciated measures about training workers, care of equipment, contingency plan. The economic projection implies that the cost of implementation of the baseline is $3,500 dollars that it compared to the cost of a consulting firm, defines a reduction of $1,500 dollars in the environmental study, the execution of this kind of work is recommended, not only in the tanneries companies, but in all businesses and exploitations, since in all of them there are products or processes that cause environmental damage to biotic and abiotic factors in an ecosystem.
